#RepurposedCLT fashion show
The #RepurposedCLT fashion show and auction was a celebration of creativity by some of the great designer minds of the city. Walking into Warehouse 242, the vibes immediately exuded class and innovation, from the chic energy of the audience, to the exclusive products sold by the vendors.
The auction presented some of the most unique and forward looks, from a formal sexy dress made from a curtain, to a stylish floor-length jacket made from a comforter. In the air I sensed the excitement and awe for the beautifully crafted pieces, and all around positivity for support of a good and fashionable cause.
I am a huge proponent of eco-friendly functions, and this event not only promoted recycling and community work, but gave an always needed platform for entrepreneurs of color to shine and sustain their work. All in all, #RepurposedCLT was a success and a fly way to raise funds for non-profits. Looking forward to the continued growth of next year!
